Recruitment Guidelines for becoming a vict … err memberAll applicants must be level 30 to apply to Bloodsong and be unguilded. Please auto join /songer to get to know members. Grouping and raiding with us is the best way to get to know members. Keep an eye on our raid boards and stay in /songer. We do some spur of the moment stuff and are currently allied with other guilds doing some raiding. Our Sunday Slaughter channel is /bsfun and is a good way to get meet members and ally guilds. Having said that we should make clear. We are NOT a raid guild. We ARE a family guild that dies to mobs on occasion. (See Why We Are Not Uber! for details).Steps to becoming a member:1) Make a post introducing you to us. We need to know name, class, level, and anything else you would like to tell us (IE. Favorite food, what you like to make halflings into, and if you like long walks through the swamp … you get the idea).2) You will need 2 sponsors. These are current members who help you get guild groups and will be the ones pushing your application. It is their job to keep you informed of what is going on. Your sponsors will need to post on your application.3) There will be a vote after your application has been open for 1 week and you have obtained your 2 sponsors. The voting time will be 3 days or 10 yeses, whichever comes first. Members do have the option to postpone a vote for 5 days in order to get to know applicants better. (Ask an officer or your sponsor any questions regarding this)4) You will then be tagged for a probation period. This period will last 3 weeks. People on probation can be disbanded for any action or behavior that is unacceptable guild behavior, warnings are optional. There will be a note next to your name in the guild management tool saying something like “new victim in training, probation end date”. 5) After the probation period is over; you can guild any alts you would like guilded. Except halfing rangers. /nod You shall call them druids with bows so as to not offend the other rangers. All in all, the application process will average a month, of which 3 weeks you will be guilded, but on probation. We don't feel this is an unreasonable amount of time. It gives everyone a chance to try on each other to see if we fit.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Voting: The voting time will be 3 days or 10 yeses, whichever comes first. Options for votes are: Yes No - only valid with a reason as to why. Doesn't have to be posted, but must be e-mailed or ezboard inboxes to an officer and they will post the reason why without posting the name.Need more time - postpone the vote for another 5 days so that members have more time to get to know the applicant better. (2 votes for this to go into effect)Need more sponsors - Not feeling too sure about an applicant and would like more members to say that yes this person is a good addition to our guild. (2 votes for this to go into effect)There is no longer an option to abstain; you must vote one way or the other. There must be two votes in either more time or more sponsors for those to take effect. It only takes one “no” vote to kill an application, but there must be a reason posted as to why.
